Family Visit

I've decided to name this photo, "Past, Present and Furture"
Notice the only one smiling is "Past" :o)
We had some company last weekend in the form of Brad's parents and grandma. It was a nice, but short visit. They arrived at around 12:30 am Saturday morning and left Sunday at noon.
I think if it would have been me doing the driving I would have had to think really hard on whether or not the trip was worth it. You know grandparents though...grandkids, grandkids, grandkids!

The kids loved it as they got to take Grams (Grandma Nancy) all around and show her all of their hangouts, including their club house in the old chicken coop.

The grandmas got to enjoy a morning at "Froman's Nightclub" where they sang their hearts out to the Kareokee machine. The machine is usually downstairs and is usually very loud so Brad has started calling our Basement "Froman's Nightclub". We brought the machine upstairs though to make it a little easier for our future Reba's :o)

The kids also loved the fact that they got to show off their little colt, Jed (or sometimes Judd, daddy is still unwilling to give up all the naming rights). The kids have really gentled him. We are even able to catch and halter him with just a little bit of patients (and a whole lot of corn for mom!)

The weekend before we had company we all went bowling. I feel pretty secure in the knowledge that though my husband can do MANY things better than I can, bowling is NOT one of them. His first game he about quit because he was doing so poorly, three gutter balls in a row! By his second game though he was doing better and while he still did not beat me he did beat Jake ;o)
