Busy, Busy!

Well it is heading into fall and you can tell it. This day was a day for jackets, and if you were on the four-wheeler, coats and gloves. We actually had a light frost here last week, we were not expecting one so soon. According to those that live here we will not get a killing frost until the middle part of October or into November. You should all be very impressed with the fact that I was able to take this upclose of a picture of Brad. Can you tell he was impressed? :>)

We are getting ready for our "Meet and Greet" party. It is tomorrow evening and I have been painting up a storm trying to get things the way I want them. In the last week we have painted the Living Room, the hallway and the kid's room. Brad has also built us a new set of steps for our front door. He hates working with wood, he prefers metal that way if he messes up he can just weld it to fix it...can't do that with wood. I will be sure and take some pictures of the party, at last count there were over 80 people invited. As Chris said 'what started out as a small get together to help us meet people from the area has turned into an all out party.' I am sure we will all have fun though, I am not sure I will remember any of the names of that many people but I'll give it a shot.
The "John Deere Girls"
Jake was way too cool
to put on a hat. There
was no way he was going
to be like one of the girls!

Some pictures of our little town!

Our "Movie Theatre"
I Know, I Know...What
can I say? It really is
not all that bad...and this
is Redneckville. What were
you expecting?

The School. Where they
get out early on hot days due
to the fact "It's so hot in there"
