The Party's Over

Well our party is over and we all had a good time. We ended up with a little over 40 people so that was nice. I think I actually remember most of the people I met. Sorry I didn't take any pictures like I said I would, just got too busy and never thought about it. The amount of work that the brothers and their family did putting this thing on was amazing. They took care of everything, the food, the beer (which as all of you know is a fortune in and of itself) the set up and the clean up. We were told not to do anything but visit so Brad and I sat around talking while everything was done for us. It was very enjoyable! The kids had a good time as well. Though they learned a new trick thanks to all the kids that were here. We have a small Winnie the Pooh Train (Does this look like an ATV to you!?) and the kids would go to the top of this hill and ride this little train do to the bottom. Some actually made it, most without the train though! They loved it and no one actually got hurt, and the fence was not hot at the time. We had one couple that does business with us that actually drove over a hundred miles to get here and then only stayed for 30 minutes becasue they needed to make Mass. We thought that was a little insane, not that they wanted to make mass but because they drove that far just so we would have a face to go with the name. Nice people though.

Since hardly anyone actually made it into our house I thought I would share the end result with all of you. Brad and I liked it and so did the brothers and their wives so I guess that is all that matters.

We are off to the Rodeo this weekend as well as off to get our final trailer load of stuff. Poor Terri has had that trailer in her yard for months now, friends like her are hard to come by. The rodeo is in Omaha and Chris got us the tickets. It is at the Qwest Center, It seems we can't get away from that name :0) It is funny how many people here think that some guy from Nebraska owns Qwest. When they ask who we used to work for and we tell them they automatically think they know who it is, none of them have ever heard of a Mr. Anshcutz. What is more is funny to us is no one up here drinks Coors Light (makes it nice for us becasue it is cheaper that way) that in of itself is not what is funny the reason no one will drink it is..."Because Pete Coors is a member of PETA". We have been told by many people (those seeing Brad drinking that brand) that Mr. Coors opposes cattle ranching because of its treatment of animals and he's against all types of hunting! Brad and I just laugh and tell them they are way off on that opinion. We should have fun though as we have a nice hotel, the Double Tree Suites, where we get to kick back and swim and have a good time. If only I don't get lost driving in their downtown.

Just a future picture to embarass him
We were putting out mineral and when
nature calls you have to answer!
