Back in the land of Corn

Greetings to all. I hope everyone had a good Easter. We had a good day and the kids got so much stuff you would have swore that it was Christmas! He is a picture of the table after the Easter Bunny showed up. The Bunny had a little help this year by the time all was said and done. There was even a contest where the child that found the most eggs ended up with $10! I wish I could still hunt eggs...I guess I have an unfair advantage though being as I know the Easter Bunny RREEAALLLLYY well :o)





I had a good time though considering shopping was an everyday occurrance. I think Brad was scared after the third day when everytime he called and asked what I was doing I replied "Shopping". I explained to him though that Shopping did not necessarily mean spending. I enjoyed just walking around and being around people. Terri and I had a wonderful day that started out with massages. If you live anywhere in the area of Greeley, CO then you need to check out the massage school there. You can get an hour massage for less then half what it cost at a spa. The massage ladies were very good too, mine was only a few hours away from being certified. I got to do all of this because all the kids went to spend a couple days with their Grandma and Grandpa Froman. It was a good day!
We spent most of Easter Sunday just bumming around. My girls bought me some Easter presents this year which was very nice of them. They used their very own money (with a little help from Aunt Heather). Jayla got me the pretty corsage that you see in the picture and Kendra got me a stuffed rabbit and some vanilla soap. It was very nice.



Jake had issues all week when it came to keeping his pants up. My mom threaten me with bodily harm if I did not get him a belt. I told her that I had him one I just failed to pack it. My son is going to hate me when he gets older. I seem to be obsessed with taking embarrassing pictures of him. I love how it no longer even fazzes him. He was coloring eggs and that was all he cared about.



Jake just came running in and yelled out "Hey I see my butt!" when I asked "Where?" he came running up to the computer and pointed and said "Right There!" I guess it is good that he knows himself when he sees himself :o)






Here are a couple of pictures that we took this past week. I will have more later I am sure. If you notice in the picture with my mom, she has a coat on and Kendra has a coat on, but Jayla and Jake do not...those are my kids! I did not wear a coat even once while in CO it was so nice. Even with the 5 inches of snow that fell it still did not feel as cold as it does here.
