5 Years Old!

I can't believe that he is really 5 years old! Where does the time go?

He had a good day and the words "It's my Birthday" could be heard off and on throughout the day :o) The girls had to play his game because it was his birthday, they had to be nice to him because it was his birthday and mom had to let him play on the computer whenever he wanted because it was his birthday. It did not take long for him to get the theme of the day figured out.


He ended up with a Bronco Football (one he can actually throw) and a remote control Monster Semi. He also got some marbels and Pokemon cards from Kendra and 4 quarters that his sister Jayla ransacked the house for. All in All he had a pretty good day. He chose Biscuits and Gravy for his lunch and McDonalds for his dinner. He wanted to eat at Subway but Subway did not have happy meal TOYS, and as we all know nothing can compare to those annoying talking toys that come in the Happy Meal boxes.



We are busy trying to get ready for our trip down south. We are really looking forward to it! I have decided to only pack the bare essentials and just do laundry along the way. We usually end up with a trunk load as it is and too many suitcases just make for an uncomfortable ride home, and since I hope to do some shopping while there...no sense in making Jake ride on the roof :o)

These are the girl's school pictures. I tried to convince Jayla that we should do a re-take because half of her hair is tucked into her collar but she liked it and who am I to argue...She is cute!

Kendra is growing up so fast, she looks more

like a young lady then a little girl.
