With all the rain we have received this year we are still green and lush. I think a lot of people are in this situation this year. I know on our recent trip to Colorado everything looked so nice and green. It has been a while since we have seen that. With all the rain we also had a good grass hay cutting. Brad ended up with 407 bales (if I am remembering correctly). Now he is just working on stacking it and eventually moving it all down here to the house. Minus that that they get sold that is.

The kids are doing good, though, they are a little on the bored side. They are already ready for school to start :o) We finally got our little pool set up and that seems to be helping in the boredoom department. When it comes to being bored the kids are in their own little world, as far as their dad and mom go we are not lacking in things needing to be done. Brad has been working with wheat harvest for the past few days and has been working 14-16 hour days and is getting tired and cranky :o) I have been working on a Powerpoint presentation for a 50th wedding anniversary and have not been much help to anyone. Things should settle down in the next few weeks however and then we will be looking forward to a nice weekend trip to Sioux City, IA to visit with a high school friend of mine.

These are some of the pictures that Kendra is going to be using for her 4H project.

Fair is on the 29th and Kendra is very excited. She has been reading up on her photography so she will be well prepared for all the judges questions.
