Well we finally made it to the river this summer. The kids have been begging for weeks to go and we finally did it. We played and did S'mores and had a good time.
It is nice to have your own private river section. We are completely hidden away from everyone but only a few yards from our front step :o)
We had a pretty mild week with Kendra only doing photography for the fair. I was a little irritated though with the fair folks being as they told us we needed to be there at least 1- 1 1/2 
hours early because the iterviews go fast. So we arrived 2 hours early (you know better safe then sorry) and then they were running 45 minutes behind schedule! We were there for almost 3 hours and it took all of 2 minutes for Kendra to interview. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
We also have a birthday today. Miss Kendra turned 11!! Where does the time go? She finally got her nintendo DS, which she has been wanting for months or even years.
