Spring is in the air!

The Tom turkeys are sure strutten their stuff! We even had a little doe out and about this morning enjoying the nice green wheat behind the house. Spring is here...thank God!!

With spring comes Easter, though we didn't have any neat surprises like last year we did have a nice day.

This was taken during the 4H's Easter egg hunt. Jake was climbing the Virgin Mary memorial which normally I would tell him that is not acceptable but since they hid 4 or 5 eggs on her I could not really argue.

This year it is becoming very clear that Kendra is growing up. She chose to go to a movie rather then dye Easter eggs. I think it was mainly due to the fact that Taylor Lautner (he plays Jacob in the Twillight movies) was in it but still she skipped the eggs for a cute boy.

The Easter Bunny was pretty good to the kidos again this year, he brought mainly clothes to Kendra, a DS game for Jake and a scrapbook and scrapbooking materials for Jayla. Along with the necessary chocolates and candies that every good boy and girl needs.
One thing about pictures taken first thing in the morning...they are not your best no matter what age you are. But I don't see the kids wanting to get all dressed up before heading out to hunt eggs so I work with what I can. I wanted to do a little comparing between this year and last, what a difference a year can make!
