Swiss Family Robinson

While you probably couldn't call it fine art you could call it a fun day. Yesterday (3-28)
found the Froman family packing up and heading to Wayne to see the college's childrens play, Swiss family Robinson.

After some argument, the kids were not too thrilled about the two hour drive to Wayne, we all ended up having a good time. Even Brad was heard chuckling a time or two, true it had more to do with the cheesiness of it but still a chuckle is a chuckle.

The pirates in this scene had to sneak up on the unsuspecting family and in oreder to do that some of the pirates snuck up by going through the audience. Kendra who was too cool to sit with us, yes we seem to be entering that stage, was all by herself in the row behind us and got somewhat of a surprise when the pirate jumped over the seat right beside her :o)

Eariler that morning I had gotten on you tube to try and show the kids what the play was about. I have to admit that I have never read the book nor have I ever watched a movie about the Swiss Family Robinson so all I knew about it was that it was a family that got ship wrecked. Showing the little movie clip was somewhat misleading though because the first words out of my sons mouth were "whoa, it's like real life". I had to laugh at this, then later I had to call him out on his lie when he told his dad that he did not say that. It could have something to do with the fact that dad was teasing him about it at the time, darn ole daddy's.

I was able to take a few pictures that I hope to get in the mail for a certain Grandma before Easter, no promises though :o) I was planning on doing school pictures this spring but when the package prices came home last week and I saw that it was going to cost $63 for a total of 20 pictures I re-thought the whole idea, so I will be your photographer of the moment.

This picture was of the kidos running down the hill after taking a few pictures, notice Kenny in her delicate I am too old to run free jog and Jayla in her I am going to plow you over run and Jake with his if I was bigger I would knock you down sprint. At least that is how I inturpurt this picture :o)
Love to all, until next time...which with all the homework I have coming due maybe in May, take care!
