There is an end in sight!

There is an end in sight, though if I am honest you probably still need a good pair of binoculars to see it clearly. Two of the brothers are here today blowing insulation into the new attic as well as laying a portion of the floor. Brad and I finished all the taping, mudding and texturing last weekend and I got everything primed, minus the closet, yesterday. I can honestly say that I was impressed that Brad and I could work together for three days straight without killing each other, the first day was a little tense but we made it. I find it funny that no matter what you are doing the man ALWAYS has to know more then the woman, even if they don't! We got it done though and hopefully within the next 6 weeks we will be in our new room and taking long hot bubble baths and you guys can stop having to read about our addition news ;o)

Brad "favorite" part of the whole experience was sanding, he particularly liked the part of sanding corners. He would "sing" their praises the entire time. Since I included a non-flattering picture of Brad and thought it only fair to include one of me. Brad is covered in plaster dust, I am covered in primer paint, Jake told me I looked like an old lady.

What a way to start the day, seeing this bad boy coming at you. While he didn't destroy the house he did do a number on our yard.

Halloween is also right around the corner, tomorrow to be exact and we are ready! This year we will have a Skull Girl, Cleopatra and a Ninja. All the kids are headed to a costume dance tonight and then there will be a sleepover here afterwards. I am trying to decided which I want to do most, make cookies or do homework, it's not looking good for either one at this point. I will have to get pictures of the other two in their costumes tonight, I didn't get a chance to take them while we were at their class parties.
This week was "Drug Free Week" so the kids got to dress up all week. This was inside out day. Jake started out completely inside out but halfway through the day he switched his pants to the right side out. It seems he had an issue with fastening his pants after a bathroom break so rather then go back to class with undone pants he switched them, can't blame him there.
