Omaha weekend

It was a fast and furious weekend trip to Omaha for the Froman clan. Fast and furious but fun.
We started out at the Round-Up Rodeo on Friday night a tad bit late thanks to me. I took a subbing job on Friday much to the irritation of my husband. Though as I told him he keeps telling me that I need a J-O-B and then when I get one he gets mad at me because it interfere with his social calendar. I just can't make him happy, he likes the idea of a paycheck though ;o) Plus I reminded him of all the times we had family plans that had to be altered due to his job, his response was "whatever" which is Brad talk for "ok, you win".

After the Rodeo we headed to our hotel for a short night of sleep. The following morning we headed off to the zoo where we met one of our bosses wives, Marsha, and their youngest son, Cole. It was a rainy morning but being as we have been in Nebraska for a while now we are pretty used to doing things in the rain.
After the zoo Marsha took pity on Brad and invited him and any of the kids that wanted a break back to their house and I suggested the mall. Brad and Jake went to Marsha's, the girls and me went shopping.

After our shopping Marsha and her sons treated us to a great dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. We ended our trip with a nice Sunday drive home. It was nice to get away and enjoy some city life for a few days.

Brad is getting ready to start weaning here in a few days so he is busy setting up panels and grinding hay. He is supposed to be getting a load of WDG any day now but they have been saying that for 2 weeks now so we will see. The weather has just been beautiful the last few days and is supposed to continue to be beautiful right up until the day we preg check :) Brad says that it doesn't matter when they do it, it always rains when they preg check. He is thrilled beyond words.
