We finally got a little snow, though nothing in comparison with our friends and family in Colorado. Ours was very wet so that made our roads slick and sludgy. Brad just got back from going and helping some folks who slid off the road last night get their car out of a ditch. 
Jayla and Jake went out for a little while and did some sledding. Jayla hiked up the hill this morning and took a few neat pictures from way up high. There is a peace that seems to settle in just after a snow.
Time to play a little catch up. These pictures are obviously old but I still wanted to share them. Jayla and Jake do an after school program at the church called LCCY and this was their Christmas program. Jake was Joesph and Mary was a girl in his class named Maggie and since this performance Jake and Maggie have been happily married, at least according to all the kids in the elementary :) Jake is not impressed. His girlfriend, according to him, is Joslynn and she goes to school in O'Neill. It is a common joke among all the elementary staff members that Jake has a harem. All the girls love him and he "takes care of them". One staff member is the grandmother of one of the girls in Jake's class and when she started to get after her grand daughter for not paying attention and answering the question that was asked she said Jake immediately explained to her that Kyra was tired and that he could answer all the questions, he didn't mind.
Jayla was an angel for the performance...after the performance was another story all together.
