I'm starting to think that my postings are going to become bi-annual. I really do have good intentions but never seem to get to this as often as I used too. So the following pictures are just random pics of the past few months...enjoy!
Kendra was able to go to FFA Nationals this year with the neighboring school. It was held in Louisville, KY. She left on a Wednesday and returned about 5:00 am on Sunday. That is a lot of driving in such a short time but she had a blast. Her favorite stop was Church Hills Down, the horse track where the Kentucky Derby is held. I know some of you may already know that, I did not however. Brad made fun of me for days because I had no idea what that place was. I told him that would be like me asking him what the name of the great teacher store I love is. He responded with "Why in the hell would I care what the name of a store is?" Ummmm, point proven :)
Kendra joined the dance team this year much to my surprise! No surprise is not the right word, SHOCK would be more accurate. She really enjoys it. This picture was taken after her second dance in front of a crowd. She gets better and more comfortable each and every time she performs.
Jayla got to go to a pumpkin patch this year with a couple of friends. This picture was from the zip line she got to do. They also got to stay in a hotel and do a Halloween party at a laser tag place. She had a really good time.
Jake turned the big 1-0 in November. For his Birthday he asked for a jacket with headphones sewn into it so now he looks like a little hoodlum walking around with his black jacket on with his hood up over his head. He thinks he is tough stuff though. I had to make fun of him the other day. While subbing for his music class it became very clear that he has a crush on a girl in that class. Later while on our way home I had to give him heck for it. I said I think you have a crush on Miss Bailey and he goes "SO, you have a crush on George Strait!" Well when you're right you're right son :)
This picture was from late summer. Kendra helped catch and saddle the Silver Anchor as Dozer is known as. The kids rode him around for awhile and then as a reward he got more than his share of sweet feed.
