We're BBAAAAACK!

Well we made it back from Colorado and I will be honest with you it was with a heavy heart. We really do consider that state to be home, however, onward and forward. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and visiting. Not to mention shopping, there was more then one store to shop at so it was very enjoyable for me. We arrived in time for Brad to enjoy the steer show at Crowley County Days and then go out with his brother Robby and his wife Marline. They had a lot of fun drinking and stealing watermelons. That's right stealing...Brad after 30 years of following the straight and narrow decided that for his outlaw debut he would steal a watermelon. Then when it was all said and done we never even got a chance to eat the thing! Oh well they had fun.

The next day we all went up to the mountains and went to the North Pole, this is a place that is located in Colorado Springs and is stratigically placed on the way to the top of Pikes Peak and therefore a great place to charge you a lot of money to basically play at the local fair. We all had a wonderful time though and being as Ellen paid for everything we lucked out there :>) All of us old people were even able to ride most of the rides. Ones we did not want to ride on we sent Brad's young cousin Diane. Even she had her limit though, however she was able to take a lot more then we oldies were.

Trust me when I say that this duo is Trouble with a capital T. It is a good thing that we don't live closer or I have a feeling that Marline and I would be getting a call from the school on a weekly basis ;>)

Those of you who know me know why it is Brad in this picture and not me! There was nooooo way that I was going to ride this ride. They said that it is the highest Ferris Wheel in the world...of course it helps that it is already 5000 feet in the air just by location alone :>)

Even here at the North Pole they have Rednecks :) This was the country and Western singing Elf. I never caught his name but I am sure it was Billy Bob or something like that.

I will post another entry soon as we still have a Birthday party to cover. Plus there is other information to catch up on. Until then Love to all!

Heidi and All

So good to see that you are back on the computer - (by the way - you need to make sure that all of these are being saved as you will make a fortune writing your memoirs) You should have been a writer!!!!

Have had rain and everything is green. Diane left today to go see Linda for a few days (she took Buttons also) Lexie is moping. I am going to go home tonight and try going to Ford's to file a bankruptcy. I will probably be right back out as it is a pretty cushy life being an infalid here. Temperature controlled and all.
And I know Dutchess will be glad to see me leave (if only for a little while!!!!)
G'ma went to work yesterday - and I groomed Buttons and Lexie. They do look good now.

We love you all and miss you.
