Church and Karaoke?!?!?!

Greetings and Hello to everyone. You read it right Brad and I are headed out to "do" Karaoke! On of my friends called and said that they were taking all of their husbands out tonight to go and do Karaoke. Brad is all for going out to the bar but he is not so sure about the singing part. I say who knows...get a few in him and I may just come home with "George Strait" That would be one fantasy down ;o)

Last weekend we spent most of our time in Chruch. The girls were in the Christmas program and needed to practice Saturday and then they performed twice on Sunday. They did a nice job and when it was all done they all got a present from the church members. I don't mean those dollar store presents either. They all got some nice presents. Jayla got a Bryer horse and Kendra got a rescue pup and a movie. Jake even got a present. After they handed out all the presents to the kids in the cast they invited all the other children to come up and get a present. Guess who was the first one up there with his hand out to Santa? You guessed it Jake! He had no fear of the man in the red suit when it came to FINALLY getting to open one of those wrapped presents. He has to ask at least once a day if it is Christmas yet. It is so hard to wait when you are a kid.

We went out last night for our annual Froman Christmas lighting trip. We always head into town for a night of ice cream and Christmas light watching before the holiday. I think the kids look forward to it as much as Brad and I do...whether it is for the ice cream or the together-ness I let you decide. I personally like to think it is the together-ness and I would appriciate it if all of you would let me continue to humor myself Thank you very much! I can remember having a similar tradition in my family but we always did it on Christmas Eve and we had to do that before we could open our one present we were allowed to open. I hated it! All I wanted was the present and all it seemed like my dad was doing was driving around for hours just to torture me. Now look who is the Queen torturer (is that a word?).
