Brad would never be able to deny that this little boy was his. Not because he looks so much like him but because he can sleep anywhere just like his daddy! We were working some heifers and Jake wanted to be with us so that he could "help". He hollard at a couple of the heifers and then went over to the tub and sat down to watch. Within 10 minutes this little boy was fast asleep. That is not so amazing, what is so amazing is WHERE he feel asleep. He feel asleep on a metal grate that we use as a step to work the cattle in the tub. Not only was he sleeping on metal slates, he was sleeping through the clanging of the chute, the bawling of the heifers that were unimpressed with our doctoring skills and the colorful language that daddy was using to describe the intelligence level of said heifers. Brad has always amazed me in his ability to fall asleep anywhere in any circumstance. We can be laying in bed talking one minute and then I will hear snoring in the next. I know some of you maybe saying "that's not unusual" but it is when I ask a question...he answers the question and then I ask another question and he is asleep!! He will be awake one second and then fast asleep the next. He gives me some bologna about how soothing my voice is and how he just can't help it but the truth is he is a Froman and a Froman can pretty much fall asleep anywhere. Proof is in the above and below pictures.
*Jake, as most of you know, is somewhat of a ham. While downloading these pictures the above pic popped up while Jake was in here he instantly said "AWWWWWW" then he took it even further and said "I'm Cute!" Babies of the family have it so easy! He obviously doesn't have a care in the world :o)

These are just a few more pictures of that day.

Have I mentioned that it gets a little muddy here?

As promised in the last blog here are the pictures from when we were in CO. We spent one night at the Double Tree in Colorado Springs so that the kids could go swimming. The kids are getting pretty spoiled considering we only stay in nicer hotels. They cop little attitudes if they have to stay in Comfort Inn's. Brad and I try and tell them that when we were little we were thrilled for Motel 6 because it was a rare occassion that we even got to stay there but they don't get it. Thanks to priceline we haven't had to prove to them how bad a hotel really could be, I kind of like Comfort Inns :o)

Notice the red hair? I finally started dyeing my hair and now I can't stop! Wh

en I first did it I was horrified and immediately got online to order some hair color stripper. Oh I agree you would think it would have been easier to just go to the store and buy the stuff but here that is just not possible. First off you would have to find a store and if it is not an Alco or a Pamida then they don't have it. Secondly you would have to find a store worker that even knew there was such a thing as hair dye stripper. My mail man is just amazed at how many things I get delivered to me in the mail. He use to bring all the stuff down to the house but one day he called and asked if he could just leave a box by the mail box since we live a mile off the road. I told him that would be just fine. He apologized but said "you get more pacakage then anyone I've ever known" (and according to him he's been a mail man for over 15 years!). I had to laugh because we had been here a few months and I had probably gotten 3 or 4 packages that would not fit in the box. I ordered something off ebay that came from China and that just blew their minds here because they had to fill out a paper they had never seen before for an international shipment. I told Brad "they probably think we are drug dealers now". Sorry... I am getting off the subject of my hair color. By the time the stripper arrived my husband decided that he liked being married to a red head better then being married to a burnette so now every six weeks I have to dye my hair. Oh well, no one will be able to tell when I start going gray this way :o)

I love the red hair, looks natural!
I've got addicted to dying mine too. I've been every shade of blonde, red, black and now a dark burnette. I like the burnette the best believe it or not.
