Weekend in Iowa!!

That's right, we spent mother's day in Iowa. On Saturday Jeff (one of the brothers) came down to help move some cows, and help Brad drink some beer. He knew that we were planning on going to Sioux City on Sunday to get some things at Home Depot, plus since it was Mother's day I wanted to go shopping and go to an actual mall. So when he got here he told us that him and his wife wanted to get us a hotel in town if we were up for a weekend trip. He went on to say he wasn't trying to change our plans or anything but that he and his wife wanted to thanks us for all we did during calving and the brandings so if we would allow them too they wanted us to spend the weekend swimming and sleeping. It was a hard decision let me assure you...We had to think long and hard about whether or not we really wanted to go swimming and sleep in late :o) Although Brad was so mad this morning when he woke up...it was 6:45 and he could not go back to sleep. All in all it was a very nice weekend. The kids had a good time and got to show off some of their swimming moves. Plus we ordered delivery pizza...which according to the kids is ever so exciting. Those of

you from the country know what I mean. We have never lived where you can just call and order a pizza so when we do the kids always think that is so cool.

Jake was the monster shark out to attack everyone...with a little help from daddy. Sorry that the pictures are a little fuzzy. My camera's battery was really low and some of the pictures paid the price for it.














I will do another post later this week with the branding pictures. It is getting pretty late here in the land of corn :o) Tomorrow the girls have field day and Kendra has a play so I will try and remember my camera and take some pictures. Hope all the moms had a good day! Love to all!
