Making our own Spring!

We are so sick of winter here that the school decided to make it spring for the day. The kids got to dress in shorts and sandels and freeze their butts off for the morning. I tried to suggest that they might want to wear pants and change once they got to school but of course Mom doesn't know what she is talking about and "none of the other kids are going to be wearing pants".


Kenny ended up wearing a pair of my sunglasses so they would fit over her eye glasses. She just wanted to leave her eye glasses at home today...fashion before eye sight I guess.


Jake had to buy these sunglasses the other day while we were in town. He wore them everywhere because a young lady at Wal-Mart told him he looked cool in his glasses. I might mention that the sun did NOT shine all day long, but he still had to wear them.
