Soccer is over for the year but we have a true blue fan in our household now. Jayla has always liked soccer but now she seems to think she needs to be a soccer star. Her team only lost one match this year and Jayla scored 2 points. Her best performance is as a defender, her worst is as goalie, the ball tends to go right through her legs.
Jake also played soccer this year and I used the word "played" very generally. He spent most of his time falling on the ball or kicking it out of bounds so he could then throw it or kick it in to a team mate. He also spent a lot of time hanging from the goal bar. He was not alone in his techniques, he had 5 other team mates all playing the same type of game.
We had dentist appointments last week and Jake picked these glasses out of the treasure chest. Brad asked me why I kept calling them Groucho Marx glasses which took me by surprise, I thought everyone knew what kind of glasses they were. I had to google a picture of the man so Brad would know who he was.
