First Day of School and a little catch up

Well it is finally here, the first day of school. Only, it seems that the older I get the shorter summer vacations seem to be. Which is odd you would think it would have the opposite effect.

I also thought I would add some pictures from when we went to the Fort Randall Dam. We had some friends from Wiggins, CO stop by on their way to Sioux City. The girls, Bailey and Morgan, stayed the night and then we all went to Sioux City the next morning. I think they had a good time, though that was around the time we were getting so much rain so we had our movie cut short due to my fear of the road becoming impassable. They did get to go swimming and do Pizza Hut along with the mall the next morning, what more could 4 girls want? Jake spent most of the time with his dad since we only had enough room in the car for me and the four girls, he was not impressed. He was really unimpressed when we tried to take all the kid's picture while at the dam park and none of the girls wanted to sit by him. He is a boy after all and therefore must be crawling with cooties!

I added a few more pictures from this morning because let's face it, most of you look at this blog for the pictures :o) I start back to school on Thursday with an all day training seminar, ughhh. Classes start for me on Monday and then Brad is on his own. He has gotten his new dog to start going with him some so that ought to help him not feel quite so alone.

We were able to get a little bit more done on the addition this weekend. The window that was in the kid's room has now been removed, now all I have to do is finish mudding and painting it and it will be as if it was never there. Some of you might notice that we also took down Kendra's loft, it is all in anticipation of the new room arrangements.
