Finally, a new post!

I bet some of you thought I had disappeared. Well I am still here, for part of the time anyway :o) I am in Wayne 4 days a week, including one over night stay. I say goodbye to Brad and the kids Monday morning and don't see them again until Tuesday night. On the good side though, every time I come home it's like I have been gone on vacation and they all love me a lot!
We have made some progress on the addition over the past week. The duct work has been laid as well as the plumbing brought in. Most importantly we have our bathtub!! I can not wait! It can be difficult shaving one's legs in a 1970's Sears shower closet.

Since I have not been home much I thought I would do a little catching up with some older pictures I took throughout the summer. I will try and take more photos in the future.
Kendra and Jayla were bored one day and decided to make a beauty shop in their room, these were the high dollar creations they came up with.

These were some pictures we took at Grandma Nancy's. We all gathered there for Crowley County Days this year. She had a very full house with a total of 11 guests.

Even with that many people she was able to have a roast beef dinner complete with home made rolls and mashed potatoes by 10:00 in the morning. She had planned a nice Sunday dinner but there were a few of us that were on time restraints so we had to adapt and make it work, to at which we did. It was a very nice way to start out the day. We also celebrated birthdays for Tylyn, Peyton and Kendra so after the very nice meal we got to have cake and ice cream.

Kendra had a very good birthday! By the time we had made all the rounds that girl had close to $100 in cash/gift cards, clothes, and ipod. I think Jayla and Jake were a little jealous but we kept assuring them that their birthdays were coming up and then it would be their turn.

I also attended my 15 year high school reunion and had more fun then I probably should have, and I wasn't even drinking. What can I say I am my mother's child, I can get wacky without any alcohol assistance involved. These were a few of the gals that I hung out with in high school, at the time we were all pretty good kids with a few indiscretions here and there. Now we are a medical assistant that is in school to become an RN, a professional dog breeder/shower, a Psychology professor and a future teacher :) All in all we didn't turn out too bad.
