Fall is in the air

You know it's fall when the river starts fogging over. Brad and I went over to the Shrunck house the other morning to get a tractor and this was our view. The pictures don't do it justice! It is so cool to be up above the clouds looking down. The kids on the bus have went to calling our house the Bermuda triangle because it is always foggy at our house in the fall, one of the perks to living right on the river.

We also had homecoming this past week. The kids got to dress up and be in the parade. One thing we learned this year is that boys don't get to really dress-up for homecoming, or at least not as much as the girls do. They had fun playing at the "carnival" and spending mom and dad's money. Kendra got to stay in town all day by herself (with a group of friends) and mom got her first lesson in what it is like to sit and wait for a child that is out and about having fun. It was a little difficult to not know where she was and what she was doing and trying to trust the fact that she would not do anything she wasn't supposed to do. Most of these pictures are of just the girls because I had to leave for classes before everyone else got up. The girls requested to be woke up early so that I could help them get ready. I requested that someone take a picture of Jake before they all got on the bus but my request was apparently denied. They had biker day, Neon day, decades day (we picked the 80's/90's) and spirit day of course.

Jake was fishing for a victory, Jayla wanted to De- "FEET" the Warriors and Kendra had No fear because the super heroes were here.
