Happy Fall to Y'all

Oh yea these girls are crazy. They wanted to do a spooky/creepy picture and they came up with Kendra trying to carve Jayla. At one point they both had their carving saws acting as if they were going to stab each other! I told them that that went beyond creepy to scary.

Not to be outdone Jake and Kendra had to have it where Kendra was a psycho and Jake was playing with the pumpkin guts.
They had a good time creating their pumpkin masterpieces and only whined a little when it came time to clean up all the seeds that ended up all over the table and/or floor.

The final product has been sitting on our counter due to the fact that we keep having nights that fall below freezing and they don't want their pumpkin heads to turn into pumpkin mush. I am ready for them all to find their homes outside however so ready or not Sis here they come.

As far as everything else goes we are prodding along at a steady pace. Brad shipped his cows to corn stalks this past weekend so now he will be working on tree cutting and hay hauling. Two of his very favorite things :)

I am enjoying my "job". Brad says I can't call it a job since I don't get a paycheck for it. So I refer to it as my voluntary work experience. My teacher is great and has hooked me up with many ideas and activities and allows me to have everything and anything laminated which is worth its weight in gold. The kids don't seem to hate me, in fact they seem to love "Game show host" Mrs. Froman. I turned one science lesson into a game show complete with fake game show accent and the kids just thought it was hilarious. They now request that I do my accent when we start our math fact sheet, though that is not game show Mrs. Froman that is "race car announcer" Mrs. Froman. As long as it doesn't become a distraction I've told them I'll comply but as soon as it does it goes away. So far they have been perfect angels.
We had the traveling Chinese Acrobats visit last week and man did the kids pay attention. It was the easiest assembly I have ever monitored...the kids never moved, just sat spell bound!
