Dracula, Super Baby, Good Witch, Spiderman and Death
What a combination!

Well we ended up with one good witch, one evil vampire and one crazy Spiderman. They let the kids wear their costumes all day here so the kids were so excited. Usually they take them with them and then change. Jake has asked me at least 5 times today if it is time to go Trick or Treating yet. This morning when he first woke up he asked if it was Halloween and as soon as I said yes he asked when we got to go. I told him we had to wait until tonight when it was dark...he looked outside and got excited and started spinning in a circle saying Yea Yea YEa. When I told him to calm down and go get dre
Brad made it back from CO safe and sound. I think he actually enjoyed himself (as much as someone could considering) He ended up taking Jake with him and I know Jake had a good time. The girls and I enjoyed our weekend of freedom as well. We went shopping and out to a movie. One thing I discovered is that my two boys are by far my most messiest. While they were gone our house stayed cleaned and picked up. Within an hour of them arriving home I was stepping on Legos (Thanks Nanny Ellen!) and kicking clothes out of the way. Plus it instantly became twice as loud. The girls had been getting along beautifully until the boy showed up and then they were instantly arguing and yelling at each other. In truth though it was awfully quiet when they were gone and I am sure I would have missed them in another day or two...a week at the most ;o)
I am off to help Kendra's teacher for the rest of the morning and then I will join Jayla's class for the afternoon. We had their parent teacher conferences and both are doing wonderfully. Kendra has the highest amount of A.R. points in her class and almost doubled the goal that they had set at the beginning of the year. Jayla is doing good as well and according to her teacher all the boys are in love with her and she even has 3 or 4 that follow her around and fight over who gets to sit by her. When dad heard that he just shook his head. Brad actually went with me to the conferences this time...I was AMAZED. He even talked to the teachers, I know, will wonders never cease.
Here are the rest of the picks of the kidos. Hope all of you are well and enjoy your holiday!

Hey Heidi-
It's fun to see your pictures and read your stories - especially the rain and "mud" stuff - too funny!
Have you ever thought about submitting a story to The Fence Post? Your writing would be so fun to read - you should think about it!
I'm glad to see you all are doing so well. Thanks for sending the emails - they make me smile and help brighten up my day. The kids are getting so big - can't believe how much and the girls are so pretty. Stop by and say hello sometime when you are in CO. Have a good Halloween~!
