We had a fun night last night. We had bad weather and tornados that were suppossed to be coming our direction. Thank goodness all we got was the rain and wind. The girls got scared and asked if they could move back to Colorado where it doesn't rain :>) I am not sure how much we ended up with but it was enough to make the day harder for Brad. There is just not much sand up here so the water sticks around longer then we are use too. Brad was talking about how he was going to have to figure out how to get some sand for a round pen so he can start working with Friday. This is a problem he has never had, sand has never been in short supply where he is from.
I had to include this picture because I thought it was cute. I have found that the only way Brad will not turn away from a camera is if he doesn't know you are taking the picture or if he is with one of his kids. It is rare that you get a picture this close to him. As always his liitle shadow is close at hand. Last night we all did something we have never done before...we played monopoly. We are spending so much time together anymore that we have to find things to do now :>) The kids love it.
I took this picture on our way back from Colorado near Broken Bow. They got somewhere around 5-6 inches in a very short amount of time. This picture was taken 3 days after the rain. One farmer made the comment that he had stuff that was 15 feet under water.
